The concepts of Metaverse and Web3 have ignited immense enthusiasm and anticipation by promising an all-encompassing digital realm. Metaverse is presenting a virtual space with the potential to offer a more equitable, inclusive and interconnected digital world where individuals can participate, collaborate, and thrive, irrespective of geographic or societal constraints.

And going by the wave of excitement that came with the inception of this idea, we can already tell there’s a growing desire for a more inclusive and empowering digital future. The good thing is that Metaverse offers a glimmer of hope in remedying some of the problems that emerged from the internet, acting more like an open forum.

Over the years, the proliferation of social media platforms and online communities has led to an increase in cyberbullying, harassment, and discrimination. Such hateful online behaviour has severely negative effects on marginalised and underrepresented people.
